At the 24th International IAKS Congress in October 2015, experts discussed worldwide trends in the construction of sports and leisure facilities and presented pioneering projects. The focus was on the following aspects – how maximum sustainability can be achieved, how architecture contributes to the development of healthier generations, how sports facilities can act as a catalyst for a region and how sport centres contribute to creativity, communication, contribution and participation.
