"sb" 1/2014: Bright and beautiful - Sports hall of the Protestant Primary School in Karlsruhe

After a good year for construction, the sports hall of the Protestant Primary School in Karlsruhe was completed in April 2013. In the immediate vicinity of residential buildings, an old people’s home, technical college, preschool and church, the school ensemble represents a new, important urban element of Karlsruhe’s north-western district.

23rd IAKS Congress: A retrospective - Award-winning projects and designs from the 2013 IOC/IPC/IAKS architecture prizes

Karin Schwarz-Viechtbauer from Austria and Conrad Boychuk from Canada were on the jury deciding this year’s IOC, IPC and IAKS architecture prizes. They hosted presentations of exemplary, medal-winning projects from this year’s competition.
